I have heard my neighbors have sex before and it got me wanting to wake my girlfriend up and get some. I don't mind if my neighbors can hear me either: the bed going up and down and all that good stuff. Do you people have any stories, start masturbating or what?

Actually, i'd be weird if you wouldn't be aroused. It's not just the fact you _know_ someone close by has sex right now, but there's kind of an imprint of reaction to moans and stuff in your brain.
Now i know scientifics are always questioned and there's always people for either side, but i believe the following because it seems so "correct" to me:
And that's why, girls, scientifically, moan/breath loudly/make noise: Mostly it's the guy doing the "work"(female-on-top is rather a new trend, evolutionary speaking), and the female "directs" him via those noises, kind of like a metronom for a pianist.
What i'm trying to say, hearing some other person have sex addresses some deeper "instincts" in you, wanting to get it on yourself.
I know when i heard someone else have sex/masturbate, i always got horny, to the point i started masturbating myself, no matter if that was in college with my flatmate or during teenage days hearing my sibling. Totally normal in my book.
When i was in college me and the old lady had an apartment together. After i put some sex on her, i layed down on the bed exhausted, turned my head and to my shock,was looking through a sliding glass door with the blinds open. The apartments were 12 stories with 2 buildings side by side. when i looked out there was at least 15 people on their balconies. Some laughing, some just looked shocked, some guys giving me thumbs up.
Anyway, i think it's normal. The sound puts the thought of sex in your mind, making you horny.
