Is it normal to get aroused by video game characters?

Particularly Undertale characters.

Life's pretty average. I'm a twenty-three-year-old female who just completed an undergraduate degree. I work at a CBT (cognitive behavior therapy) center for PTSD patients. I'm charmed to be with such a caring, trusting boyfriend for five years (we plan to marry once we get on our feet a little more). He works in the medical field. When we have some down time, he likes to play video games, and on a lesser level, I somewhat like it as well. It seems as if he'd play any video game, but I'll only play something that I think I would like- mostly puzzles, strategy, or games with a heavy narrative (RPGs and some ol' school DnD). It was only a matter of time before I got my hands on Undertale.

I instantly fell in love with Undertale's storyline, its characters, the ungodly amount of references, plays on tropes, and allusions in the game. I found myself as just becoming a normal fan, producing remixes and writing fan stories. Just that. Nothing more, nothing less.

At least I thought.

One early morning, I woke up extremely wet and horny. My boyfriend would have been more than happy to help, but he had to go to work. I had the day off. When I have the time, I usually read erotica and play with myself when I have these urges. Most times, I ignore it. That morning, however, I wanted it quick because I was so turned on, but I was by myself.

So I relied solely on my imagination that time around and let my mind wander. Soon, I found myself cumming to an Undertale character: a friggin' Madjick.

Okay. I can understand how people can get off to a character that possesses some human-like qualities. But somehow, I still get turned on by some wizard dude and other minor characters of the royal guard. Can't help but imagine at least one of them holding me down while the other pounds me senseless.

TL;DR: I'm an average 23 year old female with an average lifestyle. I get turned on by video game characters, especially from Undertale (Knight Knight, Madjick, and some more minor characters).

Any thoughts?
