Is it normal to get annoyed when nobody comments on my posts?

I get extremely irritated when nobody comments on my posts and they dont appear on the new section. I dont know why, is this normal?

    I don't think comments are necessary everytime... but a thumbs for a decent comment or something funny is a given, the only time you don't is if the person was way off base.

    Well I only notice that idiotic posts don't get commented on. So in saying that, are you posts idiotic?

    Aside from people maybe not wanting to, the posts are released pretty much two or three full pages at a time. If you're right at the top of that list, you obviously stand a better chance of being commented on, because more people are going to read it.
