Is it normal to get angry when someone compliments you

Especially when it's from my parents that think that I am so smart that they think i can work 40 hours per week at a grocery store while taking really hard courses in college such as chemistry and C++, which is basically an information technology course, all because they think that i am smart, like really I do not care if I am smart anymore I just want to be happy and have a life and I am soooo tired of people labeling as smart and living up to other people's expectations. Is this normal?

That doesn't sound like anger at compliments, but anger at your inability to escape pressure to please others which makes you feel like you have no freedom.

What you're describing sounds more like your parents putting unreasonable demands on you than being complementary. It's like the so called compliment is an excuse for their overly demanding attitude. Their emphasis on how smart you are or how smart they think you are enables their denial about how demanding or overly demanding your course load and work schedule are together.

I dunno, maybe money is tight in your family of origin?
