Most teenage girls and into their 20's (some) feel insecure, in spite of not needing to feel that way.. Its called self confidence.
No b/c they aren't doing it for attention or to secretly make you feel bad about yourself, they actually think they're ugly sometimes. I would feel bad for them, that they 're so judgmental of themselves.
I, too, get annoyed with women who think less of themselves. There are so many girls that fear they don't dress pretty enough, or don't wear enough make-up, because of what society deems to be "pretty". To be honest? We look at all these hot celebrities, that we set the bar too high for ourselves to feel good about us. We input the pressure to look like Angelina Jolie, or whoever we look up to. We should take a page from mens books. When men get compliments, they smile and acknowledge it. The compliments are appreciated.
But, I am glad that there are people looking past surface value, and are starting to apreciate all sizes and shapes. I am very glad i joined this site, for other reasons as well. :)
Yes I dont understand this kind of thing. I dont know why they always do this. For a while I was starting to think women just have a horrible perception of everything. I know a ton of women that do this. It pisses me off since they are clearly very pretty but act like they are a witch. I am like "Wait till you are old! Dont cry about being cute and young now!"
All of my friends are absolutely stunning, then they disagree with compliments they get. It really annoys me, especially when they compliment me all the time as well. I just don't understand why they can't see how amazing they look compared to me.
Very normal.
I like the pretty girls that don't gloat around as if they are on top of the world. It's easier to be around them.
