Is it normal to get angry about things that haven't happened yet?

I recently realized I often get angry about something that could possibly happen but hasn't yet. Today I went to Denny's when I paid for my food I didn't get a receipt. After leaving I imagined they must not have given it to me because they ripped me off so I went to the ATM to check how much they took. On the way I felt enraged and imagined about what I would do to them when I went back to fight over my money. Upon checking the ATM I saw that I wasn't ripped off and everything was fine. I realized I do this about similar events very often. Do most people do this?

Anxiety dude... and maybe a little OCD. Is it normal? Well It's normal for someone with those disorders. I have similar issues but I recognize them, I realise I have no right nor reason to be frustrated... this just angers me more. Just take a minute and realise it's beyond your control dude.

Its normal for me 'cuz I do it. Its very fustrating and sometimes I think its sickning. Its almost like a bi-polar disorder. I like this guy but I have already in my mind made him turn me down so now everytime he talks to me (he likes me) I get angry at him and flick him off. He just stands confused But he still tries and talk to me every time he see me. Then one day I caught him flirting with another girl and I was so angry and I automatically assumed he never liked me. I was just a game to him. Never once have I said these things to him or ever had a conversation with him about it but its just all in my head. I come to realize that I am making a big deal out of nothing but mere assumptions. Each time he tries to get my attention I be mean to him and it got to the point where he went to other girls. Lesson learned. Control your daydreaming, sometimes its fun to think of but it really has a big impack on your life. Do what Will Smith said in the movie After Earth, he said be present in the moment. Smell, hear, and touch at that moment. Don't let ur mind wonder on the "what ifs?" because the "what ifs" are not real and sometimes will never be real.

It happens to many so its normal but try to stop it before it gets you depressed or hurt.

I have a friend that act likes this. Whenever someone says or does something doubtful, he inmediately assumes the worst and gets uncontrollably angry. He shows extreme anger and even cries sometimes... but as soon as everything is cleared up, he gets over it again...

Honestly, try to believe more in people.
