Is it normal to get a powerstrip for valentine's day?

I was dating a guy for about 8 or 9 months. Then he gave me a powerstrip (you know to plug my computer and printers into) for Valentine's Day. Is that normal?

    It's not something I'd ever do. I don't think a Valentine's Day present has to be romantic, but it should make you feel special, at least.

    On a more constructive note, it's not really a normal Valentine's Day gift, but he may have thought it would be useful for you. Or you somehow have off the impression that you wanted a powerstrip?
