Is it normal to get a feeling of happiness at death?

Of course it's normal. Death means freedom, being dead means not having to do anything anymore.

In my deepest bouts with depression, I often found myself listening to depressive music like, Evanescence.

I dont think its 'normal' but its not 'insane' either

I think it's normal especially if it's the death that comforts you, not the pain that the person goes through to get to death (if they even do go through pain).

I love life. Full of challange.

It seemed to help even though it mad me sad.

yeah, death is a merciful release afterall. it's a happy occasion for all of us.

Ever sense my sister was little, she always laughed at funerals. I would whisper to her " why are you laughing?" Her response- I know this is sad, but for some reason I think its funny and I can't stop laughing, look around lol!"
