Is it normal to get a boner on a long haul flight?

I live in Australia, so flying to Europe or America takes quite some time. I find that on these flights, I will get a boner, totally void of any sort of stimulation or arousal. It seems its my body dealing with travel fatigue, because I always have a boner first thing in the morning too, when I'm half asleep.
Is it normal to get one on a flight like this?

    Why do you think Airbus are changing their aeroplanes' controls from the traditional yoke controls to side-sticks...?

    It's obviously so that the pilot can fly with his left hand while jerking-off with the right to get rid of that boner...
