Is it normal to get a boner in the reccenter showers?

I have been going to my community reccenter to work out over the last couple of weeks and I am having a problem with getting bonkers in the shower. It is an open shower, so everyone can see you and for some reason I keep getting a boner when ai to in. Its pretty embarrasing and I have trouble geting rod of them. Im not gay or anything either. Is it normal?

    and this is why i dislike open showers.
    i much prefer being aroused - and taking care of it - while i'm alone

    perhaps you should consider rubbing one out to get the edge off before you go there

    try masturbating before you head to the gym, might control it. I suffered from the same thing and I was in a gym on a Military base. Just something about being naked in the open like that.
