Is it normal to gain weight while wearing corset

I have been wearing corsets for 2 weeks and gained 6 lbs. Also, I wore corset before those 2 week (since had to take off corset while in hospital.) I noticed when they weighed me I weighed 4 lbs more. So overall I gained 10lbs while wearing corset. Is this normal?

(sorry for any typos)

Corsets don't make you lose weight. The best way to lose weight and feel better is to cut out sugar.

    • Yes, but after years of wearing corset. Women get teeny waists. My goal is 20-21 inch waist for perfect hourglass figure. I'm only 5'1. Theres nothing wrong with getting hourglass figure from wearing corset for many hours.

Yes, they will make you're waist get smaller overtime. Wearing a good quality corset almost everyday of the week will help your waist change shape by molding your rib cage.

    • Yes, I have been eating more than usual cause I thought while wearing corset, it would stop weight gain. Lots of women wearing corsets lose inches after years of wearing it. It makes women more curvy like Cathe Jung

Corsets don't stop weight gain, they just change the shape of your body. Even then, you have to have the right kind of corset.

It must be that the corset is cursed or something. Sprinkle pepper and a bit of holy water over it during the next full moon and you'll be losing the weight in no time.

Yes because corsets don't prevent their wearer from gaining weight. If you want to stay fit you'll have to eat right and stay in shape.

When you're tight-lacing, you're NOT supposed to be eating large portions and fatty foods. Tight-lacing can help you lose weight, because the tightness of a corset can help you eat smaller portions and less than not wearing a corset. I don't know why you're gaining weight using one, or even eating a lot of food to gain weight. When I wore my corset, I made the huge mistake of eating at buffets two times. It caused way too much pain eating large amounts of food like that. It's best that if you're going to tight-lace, you have to eat your portions a LOT smaller. It's not something that will magically make you lose weight, and eating large meals and your stomach expanding will eventually damage your corset.
