Is it normal to forgive a friend who touched me innapropriately?

Ok I'm an 18 year old male and in january one of my best friends touched me, and began to rub my penis while I was sleeping. I just rolled over and pretended nothing happened. He continued to put his hand on my ass and up my shirt. I knew he was gay, but I thought and practically knew I could trust him. Is it normal for me to forgive him despite what he did? It affected me a lot though for many it might not. I tend to be pretty emotional.

    I'd confront him about it. It's normal to forgive but if it affected you you should make him acknowledge what he did, and apologise for it.

    I'd have a hard time forgiving someone for that. If it happens once and you say you're not interested and they stop, cool beans. But not repeatedly. That's just kinda fucked.
