Is it normal to forget what you were watching during a commercial?

Almost every time I watch T.V. and a commercial comes on, I forget what I was just watching.

    I'm going to say normal. If my mind wanders while watching commercials, I forget what I'm watching as well.

    I do that all the time! On breaks I'll flip through other channels so I don't have to watch the crappy ads and then I'll forget what show I was watching even though I know I was enjoying it!

    Must not be very good entertainment then...

    The weather dictates when I can/can't watch television, but when I do it's usually only certain nights that have decent programs sometimes.
