Is it normal to for my mom to be treating me like a baby?

I'm 19 (turning 20 this year) and I feel that instead of sitting in my house 24/7 living in the country I should be in college, working, or having a drivers license right now but instead my mom (who works a lot and doesn't even brother to give me transportation in order to help me to find a job) always has excuses such as "I can't afford it" or "I don't trust you" and if my friends and other family members can do such things why can't I?
Is my mom is treating me like a baby?

OP that sucks. It's hard in a rural area like you described without a car :(. I would talk to your mom and phrase it the way you did with us about you feeling like you're feeling like you're unable to take adult responsibilities. I'd move out once you can do so too!

It's normal for mothers to treat her kids like a baby no matter what. Because to her you are her baby.

Tell her that if she wants to treat you like a baby , then drop your drawers and tell her to spank your bare ass cheeks and your pee pee over her bare knees.
Then say to her , did she ever see a 7 inch boner cock like this on a baby.

You're at the stage in your life where the advancement of you as a person is only your responsibility. You have to force yourself and get uncomfortable to ultimately be fulfilled.

Moving out of home with no income would be more than just uncomfortable

I agree, and never stated OP should do something so unreasonable. Learning how to drive, finding a job—these are the first of many uncomfortable milestones that lead to a modern person's fulfillment.

Move out and act like a adult. Of course she treats you like a child if you live with her. Oh no money thats right. But wait it isn't becos there are ways to make money online without ever leaving the house.

Yeah, either scams or very low pay. I do online surveys for a number of organisations and make about AU$15 a week: hardly enough for OP to support himself on if he leaves home

Its not about supporting yourself AFTER you move out its getting the money to get a car and a regular job.

Yea surveys work you have to work it like a real job. Ellenna you know about phone sex you can do that from home when you want it. I work as a cam model when I want for extra money. Theres alot of stuff out there like fiver.com or other freelancing sites. Theres work out there. I'm not saying its easy just that it CAN be done.
