Is it normal to fondle the groceries?

I will go to the grocery and fondle things. I like to feel products through the packages especially if it is a package that is not see-thru. I will put bags and boxes into my cart and pinch them, press them and rub them between my fingers. I like to feel the food through the packaging and experiment with it a bit through touch. Sometimes I get too frisky and I end up ruining a small amount of food.

When I am done I park the cart and just leave.

I can't stop.

Please don't talk shit on me.

Are you by any chance in the autistic spectrum?

  • I'm surprised this is more normal than my post I just made about eating the food in the store.

I think you like textures and that this is in a way also a form of fetish. Normal, but you need to be careful. There are surveillance cameras and sooner or later people may become suspicious. The footage on those cameras can be obtained by news agencies, etc. What you should do is buy the groceries as well as other items of betting textures from other stores, take them home and touch them as much as need be. At home you can enjoy yourself safely and presumably in privacy.

    • No! That must be some other fucker. My journey goes like this: produce, bakery, diapers, pet food, if I'm in the mood I'll go shake the soup cans, then on to boxed dinners, gravy and seasonings, baking supplies -I could stay there all day-, maybe hit up the organics, then I'll finish in frozen foods. I'm trying to be decent by doing frozen foods last so I don't leave a cart full of melting food.

I don't fiddle with meats, dairy or chips- except the organic chips and snacks. The shapes! The colors! Can't resist...
