Is it normal to find yourself feeling unintelligent?

The past month or so i've been stuck in a rut, doing the same things over and over. my job isnt stimulating my mind, and lately my friends and I haven't been discussing intellectual subjects.

is it normal to feel like your brain cells are dying because you've not done anything that stimulates your brain?

is it normal to go through stages in your life where intellectual subjects arent part of it? and how are you supposed to stop that stage?

Been to stupid and back lol. Valkeer's got a great meaty list to debate for a long time, pick one of interest to your friends or people you WANT to share brain sex with and don't let it go. There's always a current event, foreign or domestic, that's worth raving about

Happens all the time. Don't dwell over mistakes and you'll be fine. Know that you're smart and you'll see the improvement.

I suggest you read a book called Sophies World. It is great. I feel like Im reading about myself. It is totally normal to feel dumb. I often feel as though I don't know enough about the world or the history of countries..stuff like that. I wonder about a lot of things. You are not unintelligent and most of the stuff that you feel you need to know is to that important.

Valkeer is right. Try doing what he suggests. I go through from time to time what you are going through.

  • It will always be true that whatever a man's thoughts revolve around, he will become.

BUT! To stop the stupid watch a history documentary and bring it up with your friends. Bring up these questions:

What is the purpose of government?
Are men born with a morality?
What is the nature of good and evil?
What is the purpose of life?
    What is the perfect government?
What should be the principle of the ideal society: Freedom or Peace?
What is the purpose of laws? Do we punish for the intent of men or their actions?

Good questions, Valkeer. You should post them here individually so we've got something meaty to debate rather than listen to all these gobshite perverts talking about their daughter.
