Is it normal to find sub-cultures intresting?
well i live in england and pretty much every teenager and 20 something year old fits into a subculture, like we have `chavs` who genraly wear trainers, jogging pants and hats and have short hair, we also have `emos` which tend to be middle class skinny kids with too much hair and tight clothes and peircings, also we have `scene kids` which i think are mainly girls with pink or brightly cloured wildly styled hair, `skaters` who obviously skate and usualy wear baggy clothers, another group are `grungies` who normally wear band shirts and black jeans, usualy the boys have long hair, i think it all stems from the music people like, but most people like a mixture of different music. when i was in school you were loyal to your click like i was a grungy and we used to have fights with the chavs, even though i liked their music too (hip hop etc), it was like a bitter rivalry lol its almost a tribal thing and i just find it inttresting, like some people will only be part of a click if their friends are, nowdays i like to think i have my own style but i do miss the tribalism of my school days and it still goes on with todays youth, i guess it always will, does anyone else find it strange or intresting?
