My brother. I think he's gross and I don't let him touch my stuff. I know that's harsh but he's just nasty. He hardly ever showers, he's always scratching his balls, he's fat so he's sweaty all the time, he cuts his toenails and leaves them everywhere, he picks his nose in front of me, he likes to walk around naked (eww), he's full of pimples that he squeezes all day, etc. I feel like a bad person being so mean and not letting him touch me but I'm just really really grossed out by him. IIN?!

    Well I always find someone disgusting when I look in the mirror.

    More on topic though I think it is normal to be disgusted by very poor hygiene even if they are a relative.

    Well of coarse it's normal since he is in an extreme condition of dirtiness!! I mean if he did shower and didn't walk around naked then I guess it wouldn't be normal just another sibling relationship that needs some work haha. So what I'm saying is it is understandable and completely acceptable that you feel that way.

    Is he depressed? Not bathing and letting yourself go physically are often signs of depression. I'm not sure that you can help much if that's the case, but it may help you to understand why he acts the way he does. On the other hand, picking zits and leaving toenails all over the place is NOT an indication of depression but of just pure nastiness, so there's that.

    As for whether it's normal, yeah, it's normal to find gross behavior gross even if you understand its root causes. If you suspect he's depressed, talk to him about it and see if he'll reach out for help. If he's not depressed, tell him to stop being so freakin' gross.

    That's fuckin gross!!! My dad is like that and my Mom has to clean up after him. thats why im still living at my Moms is because my dad sits and watches basketball all day long so i have to help her
