I used to enjoy watching pornography when I masturbated but in the last couple of years I've grown very bored of it. I've watched lots of different types of stuff but nothing really interests me anymore. I much prefer to just have sex or masturbate and use my imagination. It feels like the rest of the world is loving porn. Is this normal?
IMHO, much of porn lies about the natural sexual nature of women. But some porn shows the sensitive pretty side of female sexuality. My favorite stuff is filmed by the female director Candida Royalle. It's joyful, it's sexy, it makes your heart feel good, and in my case, it raises my faith in womankind. Btw, her film entitled "Christine's Secret" has won lots of awards. Watch that, and you'll want a romance, not just a fuck.

Yeah, I find most porn pretty bad. I guess I like kinky BDSM stuff, but whenever I watch the acting in that, it's so cringey and unsexy. I'd rather use my imagination or I also found reading stories off literotica to be much more appealing.
Yeah, I feel the same! If I watch a porno of something I enjoy in real life it usually just seems a bit cheesy or sometimes even gross/disgusting. On one occasion I saw something that actually made me say "ugh" outloud, and I was so disappointed I just put my pants back on and forgot the whole thing.

I think it's kinda natural. I honestly read more erotic stories than I watch porn for the most part. I even write my own sometimes. I think they are nice and since I write them they cater to exactly that stuff I am looking for.
I'm kind of on the fence with this one. Maybe you just haven't found the sort of porn category that you enjoy. Then again nothing compares to actually being the one feeling those sensations yourself.

This raises an interesting point. Given rule 34 and what not, I don't think anyone could honestly say that they've tried every single kind of porn, so perhaps I'm being hasty. It's just weird because I used to enjoy specific kinds a lot, to the point where I wouldn't masturbate without it.
