Is it normal to find maggots in chik o sticks?

You know those peanut butter flavored crunchy candy sticks? Not sure if I spelled the name right. Anyway, I was listening to a morning radio show & a guy called in saying that he was eating one without looking, when he finally looked, he realized there were maggots inside! I thought this was weird as it is a hard candy so the next time I was at the liquor store, I picked one up and there was a maggot sticking out of a hole in the side of the candy! Also, along the bottom of the wrapper was a buch of tiny dried up looking maggots. Anyone else come across this before? I wondered how common it really is...

      How do you figure you can sue them? What were your damages? Can you prove they did this maliciously or were negligent? Probably not. It's not lawsuit material. Not even close. The best you'll get is a coupon or a refund.

    lol yeah like the inside of a Butter Finger but in a tiny stick form. The Jungle is a great book! I didn't actually buy the candy- just picked it up to look & handed it over to the cashier. I guess I coulda sued. Although, the caller on the radio show said he complained to the company & what did they offer him? A months supply of Chik-o-Sticks!!!!!

    One thing i learned is that people post their own OPINIONS on the internet , then false news is spread . But if you experienced maggots in candy you can either 1. Be nice and tell the company . Or 2. be an asshole , Buy one , search for a maggot , and sue them.
