Is it normal to find just the right music to masterbate to?

I had such an urge to get the perfect music to and I don't know if it's normal to do this but once I actually took out every one of my fathers CDs and I finally found the perfect song and that was the song "dead or alive" and it just goes with the mood I guess, but anyways when my dad got home he was like WTF?!?! And I said " I ...I ...I can't explain" and he was pissed. But is this normal?
