Is it normal to find haitian dirt cookies appetizing?

Sometimes, when I hear charity ads from Haiti, they talk about how the Haitians have to make dirt cookies to mitigate their hunger pangs. I also saw a video of people preparing them from mud. I don't know why, but when I first heard of it, the first thing I thought was "yum". Yes, I know it's a tragic reminder of how poor Haiti is, but to me, the dirt cookies look yummy.

    Yeah! Well guess what, KFC stopped the $5 lunch meal, I can't afford to pay $10 every other day for KFC, I'll only be able to afford it once and week now! I don't see anyone crying for me.

      For one, I am NOT making fun of their situation. I know 100% how awful the situation of those people is, and I can sympathize with them. I am simply saying I think the cookies look appetizing. Nothing more, nothing less.
