I tend to find geeky guys so more attractive than your average jock, I dont know why but I find it sexy when a guy can keep up a conversation with me about astronomy, physics, chemistry or, the latest documentary on the history channel or just some input on the latest star trek movie or prometheus... I myself am a bit of a nerd, but I am a hot girl with the exception of a brain and id just like to find a compatible guy instead of a good looking guy with the brain the size of a nut. Is it normal, am I makeing any sense to anyone?

    I dislike how popular being "geeky" is now. I've been geek, jock, Quirky, nerd, gear head, music lover, anime freak, video game player, animal lover all through my life. but now the its "in" to be weird or awkward it annoys me.

    My inner rebel tell me to hid out till this crazy has blown over. Cause those labels are all things that can describe me, But not things that define me. I am my own man, not a cliché stereotype!

      Yeah. I agree with you. Ever since the beginning of "the internet era" you're seeing a whole lot of people that want to pretend to be these geeks and nerds. It's rather annoying. I think you can tell the difference between real geeks and the ones that just like to play the role, though. Real geeks seem to be actually into it. I don't know how to explain it, but you can tell the passion is really there where as the wanna-be's just tend to play a few video games, name a couple of comic book characters, go to one or two conventions and tell the world that they are "totally a geek". It is annoying but fads are fads and eventually it will blow over. Hopefully, soon.

        Yes, like the hipster glasses. Its also looks kind of stupid when someone who does not wear glasses tells someone with a prescription to get dorkier looking glasses. People with REAL glasses are trying to blend in not saying "Look at me! Im blind!" They dont want to be noticed for it.

      I'm right there with you, it honestly annoys me how its considered "cool" now. I've been considered a nerd my whole life, and now suddenly nerds are getting glorified and girls are saying how they like geek guys, it just...annoys me.

      Honestly at this point it would be abnormal if you said you like jocs or guys who are into sports.

          I have seen revenge of the nerds and I agree. I do wonder what if those guys existed nowadays, I imagine that they would actually be cool and getting way more girls.

    You would of been in heaven last night if you'd been sitting at my table at the quiz night. The 6 guys I was with looked like they worked together building the very first prototype computer, had never seen a girl naked or been exposed to sunlight.

    It is absolutely NOT normal, but it is intelligent and reasonable. Good on you.
    Many women I've known have told me that the "pretty boy" jock type are terrible in bed, only interested in themselves and not at all interested in the needs and pleasure of their partner. Apparently, most of them get a lot more excited (stimulated) looking at themselves in a mirror, than by looking at a beautiful naked woman in their bed.

    I'm surprised you don't know this. People are typically attracted to people with similar interests, similarly personalities, similar aspirations and so on. A clever, geeky girl is likely to be attracted to a clever, geeky guy (not always, but most of the time).

    Also:
