Is it normal to find bone abnormalities attractive?

I like science. I REALLY like biology, and I REALLY enjoy looking at bone growth and skeletal structures. My boyfriend is pigeon chested (pectus excavatum or pectus carinatum) and has a dent at the front of his ribcage. Is it strange to find this attractive? I also think mild scoliosis looks quite attractive too, but have never heard anyone say similar.
Maybe I just think it's interesting.

definitely not the first thing most people are attracted to on the human form, so I would not say 'normal'... but there's nothing wrong with it at all.

  • Bone abnormalities don't really make me attracted. The skeletal system is my favorite and I like it when it is of superior quality and not slightly messed up, although I do agree that abnormalities are fascinating to look at.

I think you have a great appreciation for the human body! That's a fantastic thing! Educate yourself! It's really amazing what keeps us all together! :)

You might like me then! My bones are extremely thin on the account of having the gene for Marfan's syndrome. There's a small, pointy and hard growth that is on my left pisiforus and I have scoliosis, but I've been trying to fix it with a brace.

Ooh, you sound very cool :D Obviously severe scoliosis should be corrected because of the pain and the organ damage but I think aesthetically mild scoliosis looks really good (kinda between 10 and 20 degrees)
Does Marfan's run in your family? (Are you Abraham Lincoln's great great great grandchild??)
