Is it normal to find (blood) relatives dancing with each other creepy?

For some reason, I find it quite disturbing when blood relatives dance with each other. Okay, not the boogie or Carlton or synchronized type dancing, but the type involving hand contact like the waltz, ballroom, swing, etc. For some reason, I find it a bit disturbing when I see this, including stuff like Daddy-Daughter dances at weddings. Is that normal?

Can I ask why it's creepy? My guess is because it seems too sexual to you but I don't think that's what's going on in these situations for the most part.

It's only weird/creepy to me if they're engaging in a sensual dance. For example, the Latin Dances. (etc.) or, if there's something inappropriate about their behaviour.

The Lambada would be hella creepy.

I don't see anything weird about daddy-daughter dances, that's probably my favorite part of the reception other than the bride and grooms dance.

Some dances are not meant for family, like the tango. But a waltz is a pretty standard dance. Closeness, affection, and body contact does not always have a sexual connotation. I think you are reading too much into it.
