Is it normal to find aircraft crash videos funny

There are heaps of aircraft crash videos on YouTube and I can't help but crack up when I see some. I understand that people are seriously injured or killed in many crashes but I think the fact that people aren't ever visible and that it's just a video recording insulates me enough from the event that I only see the humour in it.

There's something about the way that the crash looks like it's happening so slowly and predictably with a huge boom at the end that makes me laugh. Also seeing a helicopter upside down or in some other unusual position just looks funny.
