Is it normal to feel your pulse in a cut/bruse/wound?

So I got a papercut earlier in the day and it started hurting later on in the day. I started feeling my pulse in the area that I got the papercut. I told my boyfriend and he didn't get what I was saying. Is it normal to feel my pulse in a wound? Cause it's definatley happened to me before.

    Yes it's normal. Your white blood cells are at work trying to fix your papercut.
