Is it normal to feel what happens inside your dreams?

For as long as I can remember, whenever I have dreams, I can feel what happens inside of them.

If I'm running real fast in my dream, I can feel wind rushing past me. If I get punched then I feel the pain. If I received a kiss, I can feel the warmth. Etc.

And sometimes when I wake up from the dream, wherever I felt something touch me in the dream, I see the effect on my body. Like cuts, bruises, or even a slight warmth on my lips for example.

Is this all at least a little bit normal or even normal altogether?

I feel things in my dreams too. Sometimes when I am injured in my dreams, I feel pain. And when I wake up, I am scared to look at my body for fear that the injury really happened. I'm not sure if it's normal to get bruises and things though.

I always feel my dreams. I don't wake up with bruises, but I certainly feel what happens. Floating is the best. But thankfully I don't often have violent dreams.

You just have a good imagination. Your brain can create all sorts of sensations that you wouldn't think it could. However I can't explain the cuts or bruises and I can't say whether it's normal or not. I've never heard of that happening. Is there any chance you've been training in the Dark Forest?

The bruises in your dream are just in your head. In real life, you're just sleeping in a bed..

I love eating in my dreams. No joke. And I don't see the effects of it on my body. Calorie-free chocolate-cake - it's the best.

    Yeah I've had that too.

I once tried to pinch myself in a dream and felt it.
