Is it normal to feel weird because i am a women?
In some cases, I embrace the fact that I'm a women, but even with all these "equal" rights and laws being passed, I just feel as if being a guy would be easier.
Now I know this might sound as if I have very low self-esteem, but I just don't feel like women till today are treated the same & that's a crappy feeling.
I get tired of hearing immature men yelling "go make me a sandwich!" or old creeps hollering at young girls around me, and even me in some cases. Even though I do defend myself, and I believe that women can do the same things men do, I think that not everyone thinks the same way.
I do wrestling as a sport in my school, and I think it's an awesome sport. BUT because I am a WOMEN, the guys on the team treat me different, and they frown upon me. I'm not bad at the sport, and I actually excel in it, so with all this "Discrimination" going on, I just feel as if I'm weird because I'm a women, and that if I were a guy life would be easier.
Maybe I'm just being pessimistic and in need of some optimism,
any opinions?
