Is it normal to feel weird about liking younger guys?

I have this very big crush on a guy younger then me (only by a year: or one grade level) .
But the thing is I always told myself back before he went to my school that it's not right to like someone younger then you ( it's nothing personally about anyone , intact my moms a yr older then my dad) but now I feel like its wrong .

I mean I like this guy a lot and am always thinking about him and even during class. But it doesn't feel right considering he's younger . And I always felt that only guys should like younger girls not vise versa .

Plz tell me what you think! Is it wrong?

    It's NOT normal to feel "weird" about it because you are ONLY one year apart !!!!!

    You were a BABY in DIAPERS when he was born and you weren't even able to speak !

    That is NOT even an age difference.

    I would consider an age difference to be anything beyond 5 years... that's where the real age difference comes into play.

    Well the bad part is a girl who's kinda close likes him and she's his age . And I didn't tell her I liked him. I dont wanna hurt her bc I like him:/

      I understand what you mean. I would say stay away from the relationship. If you are this conflicted now you are going to kill yourself actually dating him. When you have conflict like this you can not pursue it. It will eat you from the inside and you will hate yourself in the end.

    some people say its weird (i know cos i liked a guy only 2 yrs younger, but he was 17 so i felt like a pedo hah;) and that the women should be younger (personally i like being youngest at everything) but comon, and only 1 year? I think its nothing if you really like him. maybe it will not seem 'weird' to you if you think of it out of high school ages, and hes like 21 while youre 22.
