Is it normal to feel unwanted?

I always feel as if I'm so ugly. All of my friends wouldn't understand me and I can't speak to my mother about it for various reasons. It breaks my heart that they're aren't any boys interested in me because of it. I feel like if a boy actually took the time out to talk to me he would actually like the person I am on the inside, but not purse me because of how I look on the outside.

Sh, sh, shhh... *shoosh-paps* It's okay, Pika's here...

You know what?! I'll be-be-be-beat up all the bullies! (A line from "Light My Heart") I'll kick the ones who call you ugly. But, I'd say your beautiful, no matter what! Everyone and everything has at least something beautiful in them! This is a beautiful world~

So chin up, girl, and love yourself!

Definitely this OP... You don't think you're ugly as a person and that's all that matters!

There will come a time when you will begin to meet men who are more interested in your character than your appearance.
Stop judging yourself by the immature children you know now and be patient. As you mature, so will those you relate to.
Remember, others do not see you as you see yourself. We are all overly critical of ourselves, and mostly, we are wrong in our opinion of our own looks.

I feel that way every day of my life. the only thing you should remember is that letting people or things make you feel that way is letting them win and you don't want them to win so even if you feel super hurt and unwanted you should pretend they don't bother u

I'll tell you a secret: Most people have doubts about their looks ... even famous models!

Change what you can change and accept what you cannot.

People who are "On the Market" for a partner make a daily practice of careful grooming and dress. They try to always look their best. It is surprising how many kids leave high school without an understanding of this basic advertising feature of dating. You don't have to do it once you have an established relationship. You dress down to show you are "Off the Market".
