Is it normal to feel uncomfortable when i give others praise?

I always feel uncomfortable when giving people compliments or saying nice things about them whether it is in person or through a text or DM. I can’t shake this feeling. I dislike feeling this way because I’m not comfortable with being kind to others and can make me come off as one dimensional and self centered or just inconsiderate. I was curious if anybody else felt this way.

    Nope, I like giving credit where credit is muthafuckin due! It's not uncommon for me to maybe disagree with a person about religion or what not, and then see the person make a really great comment about boundaries or consent so I just tell that person, "right on"! There's nothing wrong with telling people when they're saying or doing something I like! If I like a something I am gonna say it.

    What could be wrong with being complimentary as long as you're being honest?
