Is it normal to feel trapped in oneself?

Does anyone else feel like you would love to get out of your own person and see how you appear? I have a controlling problem so I guess that's part of why I feel that way. I want to control every situation so that includes how I come off to people but I can't do that if I'm literally trapped in my own body without seeing myself as a whole. ITs like Im literally peaking through my eyes but want to jump out and see me and everyone else. Kind of like if I were in a show then I get to watch myself and how I come off when it airs. Id love that. This sounds like paranoia but its true cause I am paranoid. I want to control my surroundings.

I completely understand what you mean.
I am so careful when it comes to the little details about myself because I want to know everything about myself and my surroundings.
Knowing how I come off to others, would be amazing!
So in my world, this is normal.
    Hope I helped.

Here is the thin you cannot control ever aspect of you life.

Just don't worry about the things that are out of your control.

People bug out over the weather public transport prices of food etc.

The soul is trapped within the body.

Sometimes, I do feel like this so I guess it's normal.

    Gotta let it happen
    Gotta let it happen

I feel like that sometimes. Sometimes I just realise that people see me in the same way I see them (obvious, I know), and I get curious. Doesn't happen that often with me, though.

    • I think its just a matter if you care so much about what others think of you and in my case, yes I do.

Maybe you are frustrated with yourself and that makes you want to leave yourself. Do you get what I mean?

You shouldn't be. Work better at yourself and maybe try to modify your approach tot he world, because you cannot control everything. All you really can do is your best and be happy with that. I don't know if any of this helps but I hope it does.

    • But even when I try to approach to the world the way I want them to view me is not always received that way. Being misunderstood has been sucha frustration to me its like I can't do it anymore. That's why I want to step out and see if the way I delivered myself was also perceived.
