Is it normal to feel trapped in a relationship?

I've been with my girlfriend for 2 years now. I tried to break up with her about a year ago, and she threatened me with suicide. I can't see any kind of real future for us, but there never seems to be a right time to break up with her. I don't want to hurt her, but I feel like the longer I leave it, the worst it'll be.

Agreed. You can't waste your entire life on someone you don't want to be with. Breaking up with someone is not easy. If you're really concerned about her mental health talk to one of her friends or family first. You are not responsible for her actions and shouldn't be threatened like that. You're going to have to grow a set of balls and do it and not go back out of guilt. Good luck you will feel better in the long run!!

Don't let her control you like this. If she's suicidal then that's a problem she already has herself.

You're right. It will be harder and worse the longer you wait. Get out if you're not happy. Its not right

Get your girlfriend some help ad leave her. If she is threatening to kill herself over you leaving this is not healthy for either of you. This is a sign of an abusive relationship and is not healthy at all. http://www.wikihow.com/Break-Up-With-Someone-Wh...

That sounds bad, sorry for you. But why don't you try being trapped in a tiny room deep inside the world under Chilli, for 2 years!!! shiiiyit, then talk to me about being trapped.

You could try being a real mother fucker to her, say you'll meet her somewhere, don't, ignore her when you're out with friends (if you got some that is), tell her she has bad breath, and other bad body odour, on different occasions or you'll be too obvious, get really shit faced and make a fool of yourself in public. That worked for me, even though i didn't want to break up with mine. Good luck.

How is being trapped under Chile for two years normal? Espescially when those miners were only in there for 2 months? I really don't understand what the fuck you were trying to get at with that point!?

Just do it. No point in being in a relationship if both people arent happy.
