Is it normal to feel tired of being pregnant?

I am currently 37 weeks pregnant. I've been terribly uncomfortable throughout my last trimester and honestly I'm just ready to have my baby. I can't sleep, I have to pee every ten minutes, my mood swings are ridiculous, I can't walk or stand for more than a few minutes at a time. The list goes on and on. Did anyone else feel this way and if so, what did you do to feel better until you went into labor?

I'm right there with you. I'm at 36 weeks and rather little to begin with so this extra weight is really starting to hurt. I find baths really relaxing, just make sure to keep the door unlocked in case you need help out. I also find myself on all fours just to shift the weight around. If you can, find yourself a spa that knows how to massage pregnant women and treat yourself. And yes, a small glass of wine may be exactly what you need to get some decent sleep.

Good luck! And remember you are not alone.

From what I've heard and read, and from what I can imagine, yes. It's totally normal. You're tired, you're emotionally and physically drained and probably feeling like you're close to immobile.

But you're almost there :) congratulations :) Try to do what you can to spoil yourself and bugger what everyone else thinks.

Oh and I know it can be annoying getting "advice" from someone ho hasn't personally experienced it. Sorry :(

Smoking will make the baby come out faster. Says so right on the side of the pack.

I haven't done anything to jeopardize the health of my baby, I dont really want to start either.

I understand the taboo against it. Once it comes out, light up.

I had this back/belly brace, that helped a lot. At this point your baby is developed, have a couple beers or smoke some pot, it's not going to hurt anything.

I asked a serious question, a serious answer would be appreciated.
