Is it normal to feel tingles in my brain when hearing certain sounds?

Sometimes when I hear certain soft sounds - for example someone scratching or folding a piece of paper, or someone tapping their fingers - I will get this weird tingly, ticklish feeling in the back of my brain. It feels pretty good and doesn't hurt, so I was wondering if it was normal.

I know exactly what you mean. It's called ASMR. Look it up on Youtube. You'll find videos of people speaking softly and you'll get tingles. It's normal. Just not many people who have it realize that it's a "thing".

      This.

ASMR is normal. There are lots of different triggers, like tapping and scraping and soft whispers and playing with hair... etc. Search "ASMR" on YouTube and watch some.

I feel shivers down my spine, and sometimes up my spine too. And sometimes i feel them without any reason.

I feel it every time I hear "I wake up in the morning, as the day is dawning, gee, I gotta go to schole". Canadians in my brain.
