Is it normal to feel this way while pregnant ?

My niece and her husband are having they're second child in Ausgut. This past month she's been depressed she's been sick almost everyday and hungry. She's miserable all the time. I wasn't this way when I had my kids. I cried once in a while but not everyday. She's younger than me about 10 years. I was 32 when I had my son and 34 when I had my daughter. She's only 23. Yesterday she cried I talk to her for a while I asked her what was going on she said nothing she told me she loved her husband too much she's crazy over him. Her daughter is 3 she doesn't like seeing her this way. Me and her husband try to help her feel better but there's not much we can do for her. She wasn't this bad when she had her daughter she was 19 when she had her. Is it normal for her to feel this bad ? How can I help her feel better ?

    Where are her parents?
Its all good that Uncle and Auntie are there to be overly concerned about this poor young girl, but the principle point is to offer: Support, comfort, doctor visits, help at home and outside home, love without conditions, and above all TRUST.
If you cause any break in trust in this most sensitive time in her life, there is no limits to what could go wrong.

I'd suggest you ask her if she wants to go see a social worker or doctor or someone who is qualified in supporting her through her own minded difficult time. Whilst also giving the same support to the husband who she loves.

Regarding her daughter, she needs total security and re-assurance, a new baby coming into the world is a BIG thing, especially when it makes mom cry! You need to confirm (again through child services help) that she is adapting ok to the changes happening around her.

These times can be seen as 'nothing' when in reality there is 'something' causing conflict in her life EVEN if she's going through the standard mood swings.

This is a type of all or nothing scenario. Not a fleeting help today seeyu next week episode. Usually her own parents (if available) will know her MUCH better than you do, and be able to provide the help she desperately needs.
