Is it normal to feel this attached to someone?

I recently have gotten into a relationship with this super awesome guy, but for whatever reason, whenever he is away, I get so depressed! This has never happened to me before, I mean, I have been in past relationships before and feelings of attachment to this extent have never plagued me before. Is this normal? I just don't want to end up being one of those clingy girls...please help. =[

    • Aww, thanks for the advice. He will be going off to college soon, so I'm trying to prepare myself for that as well. I just I hope I get over this before he leaves or it's going to be awful. Lol.

        • Anything is a possibility, though I usually keep negative thoughts like that out of my mind. =]

It's okay, I'm super attached to my boyfriend too. I love him so much :) It's just I decided I'd rather be happy when he's not around than sad; because that's what he'd want as well. And when I see him I'm reminded how much more happy I am to see him! But trust me, it's much more worth it to be happy :) because then you appreciate the happiness you feel around him so much more.
