Is it normal to feel that something in the world is not right?

Is it normal to feel that something in the world is not right? Sometimes when I got out to the city I get this sensation deep inside me that all we do, act, say, not do, Isn't what it seems to be. Like we are all in this type of rat race or game that we are all born into. But it is very subtle but just enough to when you notice it things seem off. The notice of it can be so unsettling that to me that the more I delve into it gives my mind a sort of mind thrashing.

I can sort get what you're saying. Have you ever looked up at the sky and notice that it's dome shaped? Makes me feel like there isn't a universe but a ball that we're stuck in, as if the sky has a ceiling.

No I know that. However, the paradigm that humans have of the stars can pose questions. I'm merely saying that when I look at that ceiling called the sky I question everything around me.

This is normal. I've been questioning this world for the longest of times and I still don't feel as though I'm any closer to the answer.

Well many things in the world are definitely not right. So it's normal, I think about it all the time and I'm sure lots of other people do too.

You're reaching a new plateau and once you're over it you'll see clearly what you always suspected.

Either that or you're losing your mind.

Have you ever read "Catcher in the Rye?" The main character feels exactly the same way as you. This book has become so popular because its message rings true to so many people. You are obviously extremely perceptive of the world around you, you experience emotions strongly, and are more cognitively advanced than most people.
There is a lot of superficiality in this world. The trick to navigating today's society and maintaining your sanity and sense of individuality is to find people who understand how you feel and value the same things in life that you do. Find things in life that feel true and right, such as running outside, art, making music. There are many different things.
By far the most important thing to remember is to trust your instincts. You are not alone when you perceive a rat race and/or artificiality around you. Just learn to overcome it.

I used to get this all the time, then I opened my eyes and became aware of a lot more happening in the world, as well as started being open minded to EVERY spiritual belief and respecting it. If everyone is able to rise against the ignorance/arrogance of society then we can build a better place! But until then, the world will remain in chaos.
Do some research on the world and discover whatever you need to discover to be able to break free!
