Is it normal to feel that obama let us down?

That's 21st century politics for you. All around the world it's the same thing, it's become nothing but nice speeches. It's become absolutely clear now what policies lead to an optimum economic growth (globally speaking, not necessarily meaning an improvement of the quality of life for the common civilian) and those are the policies all governments will inevitably follow, they'll just say one thing or another depending on what they believe people want to hear. In the end they'll all do exactly the same, be it right wing, left wing, the only thing that changes is what they say, not what they do.

I think Obama is an amazing president. People are crazy these days. They're all like:
"Unicorns don't exist… lets blame it on Obama!"

In the beginning I trusted Obama. I thought that with having him as president things would finally be more equal and there would be more peace among all races. On top of that I do have more liberal views and Romney seemed absolutely awful to me.

He just turned out to be corrupt like every other politician. I'm confused as to why people are acting like he is the anti christ. In my own opinion, Bush was a lot worse.

Putting all this emphasis on him being partially black and black people, is really annoying. We've had nothing but white presidents and matters between whites and "minorities" remained unfair. Most people are unaware, or in denial of, or just don't care about the disadvantages of being non-white. It wasn't just black people voting for him. Other races voted for him too in the hopes that things could, for once, be more fair.

Just like people are so quick to say that a lot of black people only supported him because he's black, it needs to be acknowledged that a lot of white people didn't vote for him for that simple reason alone also. Its bad on both ends.

Oh, you mean;

"I should have been smart enough to see this coming but one of those dumb Americans who can't see past novelty or political correctness to make a good choice because I'm afraid of being outcast by a bunch of other dumb Americans just like me. I hope I get the chance to vote in a woman in the future because she'll obviously be better at it than a man! Girl power! Yay black people! Abortions all around! Go gays! Being nice to everyone is super smart! Yay, I'm helping! Only people who say bad things are corrupt! Intolerance is never justified! I won't tolerate guns!! Just because he's going to kill you doesn't mean you can shoot him!! Equal rights for the devil!"

You sir and many other Americans. The whole bloody government has let you down. The world has let all of us down. The world is falling apart clearly someone fucked up and its not just one person who did it. The schools, the wars everything was leading to this point. This happened before Obama was elected. His election was simply icing on the cake. Yeah the world is fucked. People ignored the issue for too long. Wasn't it obvious the Us was going to fall into debt tossing the money around not thinking they would never run out of cash? US was made of money now they are out. Well what the fuck is going to help now?

My life has been spiraling downward since 2008. Is this growing up or is it just Obama?
