Is it normal to feel that no one really understands me?

I just sometimes feel I am the only one in this situation. Living alone, eccentric, emotional.....

Common. However, keep this in mind. The world is so vast that there is bound to be someone in the same situation that you are in right now.

Unfortunately, this has become more and more normal, mostly in 'Western' societies.
I think that this is mostly due to politically correct assholes and holy rollers. They act as if they are the majority, and impose their beliefs on everyone.
We need to re-institute better societies. We should, however, learn from our past mistakes and have a system that brings us closer together without crime, hatred or the wholesale destruction of Earth.
We have the technology to do this. What we need is a better system to bring people together both online AND in real life.
