I don't get the hype; I thought she was alright in SLP and the Hunger Games success was due to the Hunger Games series. Why is she being dubbed as the "BEST actress EVAH". It seems silly to me.
It is because she puts on the "I am a normal person and I love food" act all the time which makes normal people think she is the greatest thing since sliced bread.
I do think she is a talented actress, and I have heard a lot of praise but I don't think I've ever heard anyone call her the best actress ever, I would have to disagree with the statement though, she's very talented bit not the best actress ever, I like her though she seems cool, and modest, a breath of fresh air in the acting industry.
Don't you get the feeling her little "personality" is an act? I mean she has too many wardrobe malfunctions for it to be just "accidental".
I guess she's clever enough to see what's refreshing in the acting industry...and exploit it.
I don't know about the wardrobe malfunction I don't follow celebrity news that much, maby she's just clumsy I mean she did fall over at the golden globes haha
My favorite actress is Naomi watts, I'd never seen her in anything that blew me away instill I saw mulholland drive, there is a casting scene in that film that very few actresses could do, it sucks you in and then when the scene finishes it's like someone clicked there finger and you wake up, she was amazing in the impossible too, not to mention the fact she looks amazing
She became so popular because she seemed "awkward" and "relatable" in the beginning. She knows very well that it's what makes her stick out from the others and now makes an effort to be extremely awkward. She isn't that great of an actress. She isn't capable of bringing a character of depth to life on the screen. She's like Kristen Stewart.
When she's in a movie, she doesn't play the character. She plays Jennifer Lawrence.
I like her but yeah she is indeed overrated. All she talks about is about how much of a food person she is and it´s getting old already
she was great in winters bone, her breakthrough role, which came before hunger games.
I thought she was kind of overrated too. When she won the academy award over those other actresses who I felt were superior to her I was like WHAT?!?! But when I went back and looked at her performance in SLP I think she deserved it.
Who's been saying she's the best actress ever? That is a big call. But I certainly think she has talent and ability. She's just the "it" girl at the moment, every decade has one.
it funny cause I haven't seen any hunger games, but she doesn't make me want to see it either, but from the American hustle promos, she actually looked interesting to see in that one.
