Is it normal to feel suicidal after playing skyrim?

I recently started playing The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. I play it at least 6 hours every day. When I stop playing and actually have to do something in real life, I feel severely depressed and even suicidal. Compared to Skyrim, my life sucks and I wish I could play it instead of my real life. Is this normal?

It's an addicting game. You've just become severely addicted and I would even seek help at this point. I use to have a take it or leave it attitude with games and the more deeply involved I got the more of a hold they had on me. Until recently that hold was still present, I gave away my monitor and next my computer so to cut myself off and I actually felt like I lost a part of me, or my life, which I did, a very bad part. Seperation or withdrawal or whatever you wanna call it, will hurt, but you need to stop and get better. I really think you should talk to someone if that's an option for you.

Play more Grand Theft Auto, a little easier to blur the lines of reality and gaming in day to day life. Steal a car, beat up a street corner full of people, rocket launchers. Goodtimes !!!

I really think you should see a therapist about this. I don't know about the laws of in all countries but in places like the US you can see and tell your therapist about suicide idealisation and legally they can't report you. They can only report you if you say that you are going to act on it and have a plan. There might also be a difference in the laws if you are a minor so, this is something you'll have to look into.

    I wish you lick! ;)

Oh snap. Those who feel like games really are a negative influence will read this and go "Mmhm, just like I thought" and try to get you away from gaming. Playing a game 6 hours a day is nothing and most people don't become a violent, twisted being like what non-gamers think, its just a fun hobby like anything. Your case is a bit different though and certainly isn't normal. Games are all fantasy and of course they'll be better than real life, Solid Snake can survive a volley of missiles to the chest from a Harrier fighter jet but you gotta just enjoy it for what it is and enjoy life when you turn it off.

Yea i know how you feel. Games are truly marvelous and can go beyond reality then of that we live in. Its true. But that does not mean games are better than real life.
there are also ALOT of things in life that no game can ever imitate and compare to.
I hope you realize this someday.
