Is it normal to feel such remorse for animals?
Today my mom killed a baby gecko that was inside our house, I feel so bad that I coudn't save it and sadly had to put it out of its misery. It made me wanna cry, is this normal?

No! I love them!!! Whenever I have one in my place I name them and call them "roommates" :(
your mom is the fucked up one in this situation my dude, the vast majority of people wouldn't have killed that gecko
WTF?! Damn sugar, that was coldhearted of yo mama to kill that poor little critter. Believe me, I'd be sad too! It's not that hard to catch a frog, a lizard, or a gecko and take it outside.
I bet she's afraid of spiders.
:-(
Hmmm I feel you animals have souls too and they should be treated as you would treat a human poor animal 🦓
It's human nature to feel remorse and I would've. You shouldn't feel ashamed about it cause that just means you have a heart and a soul.
Noooo, poor gecko :C </3
I never kill things on purpose that isn't directly attacking me (i kill mosquitos), spiders and stuff that wander into the house I gently pick up and carry outside. To us they can seem very insignificant, but to them their little life is all they have and want. It's very sad that so many people feel like their lives doesn't have any value. RIP gecko
I'm exactly like you. I feel as if I can feel their pain. Something like that would upset me for weeks but the poor little thing is out of this evil world now. I would not be able to view my mum in the same way if she could do something like that. It would have taken a few seconds to put it outside. Fucking bitch (sorry!).
Did you at least cook it afterwords? If not you can just mail me my address is 123 street road down in some obscure location. I'm not willing to pass up free food.
