So, when i was younger i was sexually abused by my cousin. I was wondering is it normal to feel sorry because I pressed charges?
I don't think you should feel Sorry for anyone that sexual abused you at any age, Just because you were younger does not give that piece of Shit to violate your body. You did the right thing.
It's normal to feel feelings of guilt around your abuse, but that shouldn't stop you from seeking justice.
Nobody can tell you how to feel, but you did the right thing and that should make you feel good. Your cousin is not a good person and you shouldn’t feel sorry for what you did.
