Is it normal to feel sick when thinking about things/people i like?

Whenever something is somewhat similar or referencing something I like, I have an odd feeling. It also occurs when the thing/person I like is with me directly.
Does that make sense?
For example, let's say a boy I like is talking to me. When I hear the noise that he's responded to my message or whatever, I get a weird feeling in my stomach/lower abdomen. It's very sudden and usually lasts for a few seconds, and sometimes it's sort of annoying.
And no, it's not "butterflies". It could be something as simple as my favorite movie being talked about and I'll still get this feeling.
Is this just excitement or something else?

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN! i used to feel this way a lot, too! But kinda the opposite. It usually happened whenever "something was somewhat similar or referencing something" I DISliked. Particularly when people talked about sex, love, or family in any way, shape, or form. But the feeling was bad, like in the pit of my stomach. Kinda like the way you feel when you sense something is about to happen. it feels like the opposite of butterflies.. if that makes sense.
