Is it normal to feel sick if you don't eat fruit or vegetables?

If I go for most of the day without eating fruits or vegetables I get terrible headaches and feel horribly sick. I eat as little sugar as possible and little junk food but if i eat nothing but cereal and pasta for a day I have to stuff myself with vitamin tablets, apples, carrots or pretty much anything there is to relieve the pain. Is it normal to feel so sick in such a short period of time?

Yes you need a balanced diet. That means meat, fruit veggies. The fruit prevents scurvy and to an extent helps you go to the toilet. Just like veggies which is reffuge.

I actually can identify with that myself. When i was a kid i could eat candybars all day long and feel fine, but now if i dont eat healthy i feel icky. A quick fix (for me anyway) is to eat as many different healthiest veggies/foods and organic so my body doesnt have to deal with pesticides in foods while im trying to detox. For example, a wad of spinach, eat a carrot or 2, almonds, walnuts, garlic, salmon.. green tea, dandelion tea, brown rice.. and b sure to avoid processed foods and genetically modified foods!!

  • No. It's probably anxiety that's making you feel sick
