Is it normal to feel schizoid?

Im 17 so i cant legally be diagnosed with a personality disorder but i think i might have SPD.
Im jus not a social person and prefer to be alone.
id rather date/marry someone with SPD so i don't have to worry about explaining myself.

Is this normal?

What are you basing that on? Surely not because you prefer being lonely, that's just ridiculous. Diagnosing stuff like that isn't something everyone can do, and before you start labelling yourself as having a personality disorder it might be a good idea to see an expert.

I have the same symptoms but I don't feel unhappy or hurting so I'm not going to a doctor. If you're lonely, you're not schizoid.

Yes ,it's normal. Most people have a "dark" side, which consists of their most unpleasant traits.

Everyone feels like they are super crazy sometimes. Find someone you can talk about feeling that way, and you wont feel so alone :)

Schizoids do not care what anyone thinks of them.

Its more than that, i do have virtually all of the symptoms of it. I will see an expert once im 18.
