I always feel sad over every insult and criticism I get. Are there other people like me? or am I just very bad at controlling my emotions.

It's okay to be sad as long as you learn how to use it to improve and be better
Like after you accept how things are and after some time you recognize how things could be heading towards something similar to what's made you sad before, you accept the possibility of sadness again a little early on and do your best for a better outcome
Sadness become unhealthy when it becomes something you stop learning from, when you're just sad with no reason why and no clue how to end it. It can feel like you're being dragged down into an ocean of pure depression, the weight of it all reducing your strength to being only able to not just lie down and die.
Welcome to the club. I think it's OK. You haven't made it clear though, is it that you take them to heart apparently forever, or is it that it takes you too long to get over criticism or insult?
Consider if the criticism actually had a valid point or not. But no matter what you do there will always be someone who dont like it. No matter what your opinion is, somebody will disagree. And nobody is perfect, you dont have to be either. Its just part of life
