Is it normal to feel sad about throwing out, donating, or selling toys

im sad about losing clothes, toys, books, items, etc. i dont want to sell them, donate them, or throw them out, etc.

    Well yeah that is normal. But eventually you'll have to give up stuff. Donate it to kids/people in need. I do that with clothes I don't wear anymore.

    I think you should be able to keep the stuff that's your favorite and holds sentimental value for you.

      But i want to keep all of them! Everything! But,i dont have enough space, and my parents said no. how about clothes?

        It's best not to hold on to everything. Think of it this way, if you donate them, you'll be making others happy and those other people who really need them will create new happy memories with those clothes, toys, and books, so they're not going to go to waste. Sift through the stuff, pick/keep one piece of clothing, one book, one toy, and one other item. Put that in a "memory box" or time capsule(you said that you don't have space, but surely a small amount of items wouldn't take up a lot of space?)
